RS Berkane, Simba SC, Stellenbosch FC and CS Constantine complete TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup semi-final line-up

The four clubs remaining in contention for the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup title were decided on Wednesday, 09 April following the return legs of the quarter-final matches where champions Zamalek were stunned by debutants Stellenbosch FC in one of the great upsets in the competition’s history.
CS Constantine (Algeria), Simba SC (Tanzania), Stellenbosch FC (South Africa) and RS Berkane (Morocco) are the four remaining clubs set to compete in the semi-finals of the competition.
The semi-finals will be played over two legs scheduled for 20 and 27 April to determine the two finalists of this year’s edition.
As anticipated, the 2024/25 edition of the competition has been nothing short of entertaining, carrying all the ingredients of goals, upsets and high-octane football befitting of a continental club football.
The TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup is guaranteed to have a new champion this season after tournament debutants, Stellenbosch FC stunned holders Zamalek SC with a 1-0 win in front of their home crowd in Cairo to seal the quarter-final tie by the same scoreline on aggregate.
This season’s semi-finalist consists of a single former champion in Morocco’s RS Berkane, who lifted the title twice (2020, 2022).
Simba SC, Stellenbosch FC and CS Constantine will all be looking to engrave their names on the coveted trophy, but will have to overcome the tough double legged ties, which promise to be even more explosive.
The TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals will see Tanzanian giants, Simba SC taking on the confident tournament debutants, Stellenbosch FC.
RS Berkane, who are looking to add a third title to their name, face a CS Constantine side hoping to cause another upset following their ousting of former champions USM Algers.
