Artiz López Garay Announces the Mauritania Squad Ahead of Togo and Democratic Republic of the Congo World Cup qualifiers

Head coach of the Mauritania national team, Artiz López Garay has announced the squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Togo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Mauritania will travel to face Togo on Saturday, 22 March in Lomé, before hosting the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Nouadhibou on Tuesday, March 25.
Included in the squad is Raja Casablanca’s, Mohsen Bada, as the Spanish coach decided to rely on his services for the crucial matches in the World Cup qualifiers.
The squad composition has blend of local and overseas-based players.
The Mauritania national team, which is currently in sixth and last place in Group B of the qualifiers with one point, is hoping to recover what was missed in order to keep their hopes alive after failing to secure a spot in the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON Morocco 2025 finals.
