Beyond the competitive aspect on the field, the championship demonstrated CAF's commitment to holistic development.

Initiatives like the Young Reporters Programme, Young Referee Programme, Medical Officer Programme, Coaches Programme, and the CAF Safeguarding Programme were seamlessly integrated, empowering young participants not only as athletes but also as future leaders.
The WAFU B Zone CAF African Schools Football Championship continues to play a crucial role in the CAF President's commitment to developing Africa's next generation of football talent and future leaders.

After Togo's successful hosting, the focus now shifts to upcoming zonal tournaments, including UNIFFAC, COSAFA, CECAFA, and WAFU A, leading up to the continental climax in 2024.
