Following the successful launch of the CAF Partners Club (CPC) earlier this year, the Confederation of African Football’s goal of repositioning and positively changing the face of African football continues to unfold successfully.
Launched in September this year by CAF’s Commercial Division, the CPC Programme is an initiative that aims to connect CAF’s partners through fostering collaboration and synergy to propel the growth of football across the continent and develop cross-business opportunities.
The first of what will be many CPC gatherings took place in Abidjan last month ahead of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Cote d’Ivoire 2023 Official Draw where CAF’s commercial, broadcast and sponsorship partners gathered for the inaugural CPC.
One of the primary objectives of CPC is to encourage collaboration among its members by sharing knowledge, resources, and expertise through annual events, workshops and other exciting events.
Ahead of the next CPC gathering expected to take place in the upcoming months, CAF’s Commercial Director, Hassan El Kamah, said CPC’s ability to facilitate direct communication and collaboration provides great support to CAF’s vision of making African football self-sustaining.
“CPC serves as a platform to bring together various stakeholders, including corporate sponsors and broadcasters. By facilitating direct communication and collaboration, this initiative aims to create a unified network of partners working towards a common goal - the development and advancement of football in Africa. We believe this presents perfect synergies with CAF’s goal of making African football to be self-sustaining”, said El Kamah.
CAF will soon announce details of the upcoming CPC events.
